JVAT Achieves Carbon Neutrality Since Inception

JVAT is proud to announce that we have officially achieved carbon neutrality for our entire operational history, from 2017 through to today.

This milestone reflects our unwavering commitment to environmental responsibility and climate action. Since our inception, sustainability has been a core part of our mission, and we are proud to now stand as a fully carbon neutral organisation across all years of operation.

How We Got Here
Our carbon neutral status has been achieved through a two-pronged approach: prioritising emissions reduction and responsibly offsetting what we cannot eliminate.
Reducing Our Operational Footprint
– Over the past eight years, we have embedded sustainability into our daily practices and business decisions. This includes:
– Moving to digital systems to cut down on paper use and make our processes more efficient.
– Cutting back on travel wherever we can. we lean on virtual meetings and remote tools to stay connected without the extra emissions.
Keeping things lean by only buying what we really need, and being mindful about the resources we use.
– Encouraging everyday sustainability across the team, from the way we work to the choices we make in the office and beyond.
Offsetting What Remains
For emissions we have not yet been able to eliminate, we have invested in high-quality, certified carbon offset projects provided to us by Tasman Environmental Markets Australia (TEM). These projects align with our values, and support the development of renewable energy projects across the globe.
All offset purchases have been third-party verified by TEM to ensure transparency and integrity.
Looking Forward
Achieving carbon neutrality is not the end goal, it’s a milestone. Each year we will continue to reduce emissions and offset what remains, and we look forward to supporting the renewable energy sector as much as we can in future.
Sustainability is not just a commitment, It’s who we are, and we are very proud to have achieved this milestone.
